This is it – can you feel the excitement? Yes, it’s the final Sitting Tennant of 2010, in which we announce the winner of the Sitting Tennant picture competition and unveil the picture that we see us into the New Year when the winner of this year’s caption competition is announced.

A very, very big thank you to everyone who provided pictures this year, and especially Sister Chastity who so very nearly beat Erin C to the punch, as well as Ms Rullsenberg and Toby OB who have delighted and thrilled everyone who loves to see David Tennant sitting down this year.

Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below or email me and if it’s judged suitable, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery in 2011. Don’t forget to include your name in the filename so I don’t get mixed up about who sent it to me.

Starting in 2011, the best pic in the stash each week will appear on Tuesday and get ten points; the runners up will appear on Friday (one per person who sends one in) and get five points.

You can also enter the witty and amusing captions league table by commenting on Tuesday’s Sitting Tennant photo, the best caption getting 10 points, everyone who contributes getting five points.

  • Thanks for the pics – and welcome to Sitting Tennant!

  • Awh, well done Erin C: I wish I could keep up with the picture searching, but you seem to have your finger on the captionable picture pulse. Can’t beat that.
    High five indeed!

  • Beverley wondered if Chris was the reincarnation of great-gran’s boyfriend: that one had a blue box; this one has a smurf – coincidence?!
