  • It sounds like the character Cleese plays on ‘Whitney’ is similar to the one he played once on ‘Cheers’. Too bad (for me) that he’s not playing that role again. (But I think he burned too many bridges after that appearance, so that the ‘Whitney’ producers could never get the permission to make both characters the same.)

  • I thought the final episode was better but not great. The ending redeemed it, but only because that should have been the ending of the previous season.

    Having looked around online a bit to find out what happened, I concur. (Dexter season-finale spoilers are exceptionally hard to avoid after the fact, and it’s not as if I can really be ‘spoiled’ on something I wasn’t going to watch anyway.)
