• Ricky Gervais might be thinking of doing a one-off Extras special with Mel Gibson.
• The Beeb’s iPlayer has been approved by the governors. Yes, you’ll be able to watch Doctor Who with it. And thankfully, the board of governors have decreed the Beeb has to make sure the iPlayer works with non-Microsoft systems [registration required].
