Orange Thursday: Dark Waters (2019)

Only the one movie this Orange Thursday, as I actually had a life last night, which precluded watching a movie on an iPad. Oh well.

Orange Thursday: Greed (2020) and Gemini Man (2019)

This week is a first for Orange Thursday, as it’s actually going to preview a film that isn’t yet out: Michael Winterbottom’s Greed (2020), which sees Steve Coogan playing a thinly veiled version of certain retail giants.

Orange Thursday: A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019) and Parasite (2019)

After skipping last week thanks to TMINE taking the day off, Orange Thursday is back with two top movie reviews, both of which are out in the cinemas – and getting both Oscar nominations and wins.

The two movies in question are:

  • A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019) – in which a jaded journalist has his life changed for the better (for once) by a famous 1970s children’s TV presenter
  • Parasite (2019) – South Korea unexpectedly does Ayn Rand, in a genre-shifting version of ITV show Chancer
