There it is, in all its glory. Isn’t it a beauty? Here, let curator Beth Wilson tell you all about the loan and how Lieutenant Diana Prince helped bring it about.

I’m assuming it’s a Convergence artefact brought over from the post-Crisis universe, though, because as any fool knows, Wonder Woman now has an invisible chariot – a gift from her brother Hephaestus.

What TV’s on at the BFI in May 2015?

It’s time for our regular look at the TV that the BFI is showing, this time in May 2015. The entire BFI TV output this month is dedicated to Noël Coward, with a season of his plays and music, including several Q&As with the likes of Keith Barron, Dame Penelope Keith, Barry Day and Kit Hesketh-Harvey all turning up to talk about the man himself.

Among the plays is Private Lives. Guess what? It’s this week’s Wednesday Play (on Tuesday) – you can read all about it after the jump or simply watch it below.

What TV’s on at the BFI in April 2015?

It’s time for our regular look at the TV that the BFI is showing, this time in April 2015. Quite an epic amount of TV this month, thanks not only to previews of BBC One’s forthcoming adaptation of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell and ITV’s remake of Thunderbirds, but also to a season of forensics dramas and documentaries, a season of some of Verity Lambert’s lesser known works and a night of Marc Karlin’s experimental works.

What TV’s on at the BFI in March 2015? Including The Wednesday Play: Culloden (1964)

It’s time for our regular look at the TV that the BFI is showing, this time in March 2015. Surprisingly slim pickings this month, but there is a preview of Jimmy McGovern’s forthcoming Banished, complete with Q&A with McGovern, Julian Rhind-Tutt and Russell Tovey, a short season of Jenny Barraclough documentaries and a triple bill of Peter Watkins films, including The War Game and Culloden, a faux documentary about the Jacobean uprising. And as you can watch it below, it’s also this week’s The Wednesday Play… on a Tuesday.

What TV’s on at the BFI in February 2015?

It’s time for our regular look at the TV that the BFI is showing, this time in February 2015. And it’s a two-prong approach from the BFI this month, with a series of previews of forthcoming TV shows on the one hand – Channel 4’s Indian Summers, BBC One’s Poldark and ITV’s Arthur & George – and on the other, a series of little-repeated plays that fair puts The Wednesday Play in the shade and includes Alan Bleasdale’s first TV drama Early To Bed.
