Random Acts of Ali Larter: flying to Japan while saving kittens in the rain

The poster for Lemon Drop with Ali Larter

In case you’re wondering where “Random Acts” was over August, well Ali Larter wasn’t acting randomly. She just wasn’t. What? You thought this was merely a thinly veiled excuse to publish pictures of Ali Larter every week and I was just on holiday? Wow. How wrong were you?

I mean if that’s what it was all about, right about now, I’d have a picture of her running in the rain for no good reason, now wouldn’t I?

Ali in the rain

Oh.

All the same, now it’s September, she’s being all random again.

For starters, she’s got two actual movies out this month, one online, one in cinemas in 3D – yes, 3D. Did I mention it’s in 3D? The first is Lemon Drop in which she randomly saves kittens. That’s out on Tuesday. But she’s also got Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D, which is out next Friday.

Resident Evil Afterlife

Here’s a featurette with her talking all about it being in 3D and kicking a really tall guy in 3D.

But now she’s randomly gone to Japan for the Resident Evil: Afterlife premiere. She’s there right now. She is. Look – here’s a live stream.

And she’s having her picture taken with random people.

Good to see the randomness back, Ali.

Random Acts of Ali Larter: Escaping the paparazzi and eating food

Ali Larter going to yoga

This week, Ali Larter has mainly been trying to escape the paparazzi. If you are going to do something random and unexpected like get pregnant, I guess you have to expect you’ll be followed night and day by paparazzi. As an escape plan, doing yoga clearly doesn’t work, so it looks like running away to Europe is your best way out.

And in other Ali Larter news, she’s been making strawberry shortcakes and watching her favourite movies: Scarface, The Bourne Identity, Best in Show, Blue Sky and Grey Gardens. Who says it’s a slow news month?

Random Acts of Ali Larter: Losing her knees

Ali Larter as Lemon Drop

This week, Ali Larter has lost her knees. Clearly, they’ve gone missing in the shot above, but if you recall from last week’s very random week, she’s on the cover of Lucky magazine this month and someone’s pointed out at Jezebel that they may have over-Photoshopped her – to the extent that her knees have gone missing.

Which is quite random, really, isn’t it?

But, hey, apparently, if you stick Ali Larter on the front cover of your magazine, your sales go up – which is why WWD calls her “old reliable”. Ain’t that nice?

Random Acts

Random Acts of Ali Larter: Rescuing kittens, being a lemon drop, defeating Cobra kai sensei, flogging phones in Spain and giving away her clothes

Ali Larter The front cover of Lucky

This week, Ali Larter… well, let’s just say it’s all a bit random. Fair enough, being on the front cover of Lucky isn’t that random. But what’s she doing giving away her clothes?

Then she’s in Madrid tomorrow, launching a mobile phone. That’s odd.

And, well, if you can explain what’s going on here without using the word “random”, I’ll be impressed.

What a very random week for our Ali.
