Random Acts of Ali Larter: Joining the Stork Club

Proof if any be needed that Ali Larter can’t go two weeks without turning something into an act of charity, after converting her baby shower into a fund-raiser for mothers-to-be, now she’s gone and joined the Stork Club – she’s a celebrity volunteer for the March Of Dimes, a nonprofit organisation for pregnancy and baby health.

Two weeks max. That’s all I’m saying.

BTW, I have no pictures of this, of course, so have a video of Ali stopping a man from having babies instead.

So you’re Ali Larter. Being a magazine “cover girl” ain’t anything new. But you need it to a little bit random – being Ali Larter n’all. What magazine are you going to pick to be on?

Yes, that’s right. Esquire Mexico. I had no idea she could even speak Spanish.

Random Acts of Ali Larter: showering a baby

Hang on. That should be having a baby shower. But it’s also proof – if any was needed given that she’s turned her birthday, eating carrots, painting walls and signing porcelain Lindt bunnies into charitable acts – that our Ali can make any random aspect of human life a charitable occasion. Because she’s now turned her baby shower into a charity event to raise money and presents for mothers in need through the New York charity Baby Buggy.

As a mother-to-be, I quickly realized how expensive it is to prepare for my new addition. Unfortunately, there are many mothers who cannot afford the necessities such as cribs, clothing and diapers so I’m honored to be able to help mothers through my shower

And did you know she’s pals with Busy Phillips from Freaks and Geeks/Cougar Town and Nicole Sullivan from The King of Queens? That’s pretty random, too.

Random Acts of Ali Larter: Missing India, working in a lab, playing tennis and riding a bike

This week, you can finally see our Ali saving those kittens by kicking Martin Kove’s arse in weird 1970s spoof Lemon Drop, in which among other things you get to see ride a bike, play tennis and do some blood analysis: all up to her usual random standards.

She’s also going to beat up some zombies in 3D in Resident Evil: Afterlife. But first, let her tell you why she misses India – and admit that her singing and dancing in Marigold weren’t up to normal Bollywood standards.
