Another moving video: Grissom leaves CSI

It seems to be weepy video day today at The Medium is Not Enough. After Johnny Cash earlier, here’s Grissom saying goodbye to all his colleagues at CSI. It starts to get very moving about three minutes in, even more so at 4 mins 30, assuming you can spot the clues.

Obviously don’t watch it if you don’t want to spoiled and haven’t seen it yet. But go on, you know you want to, especially cos Laurence Fishburne’s in there, too.

Random Acts of Ali Larter: Thankful

Ali Larter at the Macys Thanksgiving Parade

Today, Ali Larter is thankful. Thankful that she’s being interviewed by Al Roker? Probably not. Thankful that she received from American Women in Radio and Television the 2008 Gracie award for outstanding supporting actress in a drama? Naturally. Thankful that Barack Obama has replaced George W Bush as president of the United States? She certainly wouldn’t be in a minority.

Personally, I think she’s thankful because it’s Thanksgiving and she’s watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. What do you think?

Catch up on Fringe

Well, lots of people are saying I was wrong to give up on Fringe so quickly (ie the seventh episode!) and that I should have stuck around for longer. Fortunately, in preparation for the rest of the season, Fox has put together this tongue in cheek “catch up on Fringe in five minutes” video, so I won’t have to watch the back episodes. I’m not exactly persuaded but it’s good to see that nice Jared Harris from The Other Boleyn Girl and To The Ends of the Earth is getting work.

Incidentally, if you’re an Anna Torv fan of a certain disposition, you might enjoy this collection of clips from her appearance on Mistresses that Joe’s put together for you.
