Messiah (Netflix)

Premiere date: Wednesday, January 1

Eva Geller is a CIA officer investigating a mysterious “miracle man” who’s developed a cult-like following across the globe. We see crowds of people flock to the prophet’s appearances in far-flung locales such as an active war zone in Syria, where he says he was simply “delivering a message” from his father. While his followers credit him with performing miracles, he manages to elude the authorities’ grasp, even when they think they have him in custody.

He says he’s doing “God’s work,” but is he actually just scamming people with fake miracles?

Stars: Michelle Monaghan, Mehdi Dehbi, Tomer Sisley, John Ortiz

Locke & Key

Locke & Key (Netflix)

Premiere date: Friday, February 7

Locke & Key tells the story of the three Locke siblings, who, after their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, move with their mother into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens – and will stop at nothing to steal them.

Stars: Darby Stanchfield, Jackson Robert Scott, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Bill Heck, Laysla De Oliveira, Thomas Mitchell Barnet, Griffin Gluck and Coby Bird.
