Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below or email me and if it’s judged suitable and doesn’t obviously infringe copyright, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery. Don’t forget to include your name in the filename so I don’t get mixed up about who sent it to me.

The best pic in the stash each week will appear on Tuesday and get ten points; the runners up will appear on Friday (one per person who sends one in) and get five points.

Each month, I’ll name the best picture provider and then at the end of the year, the overall champion will be announced for 2012!

It's sad, but I know that he was showing (I think it was) Graham Norton how he buys socks with colored toes so he can match them up after washing them. Which–how adorable is that?!

  • That's one of my favorite David Tennant bits – our frugal and self sufficient Scots lad apparently does his own laundry, because he spoke of the difficulty of sorting and matching gentleman's black socks, and this charmed me because I remember he was the young man who alphabetized all his CDs. A little OCD can help a relationship sometimes 🙂 Anyway he had found some brilliant socks that not ony had different toe colors, they had the day of the week woven in on the bottom. You can see how Catherine Tate is just awestruck at the genius of this idea. Both he and Catherine looked wonderful on this show and it was a very funny bit.

Waaaay adorable. I too alphabeticise CDs, and DVDs, and books, and like socks to be organised…. Organisational nerds united!
