Sitting Tennant (week 1, 2011)

Tennant and Tate

Well, the people have spoken. More than that, the people have provided pictures, so praise the Lord, Sitting Tennant is back for 2011. We’re going to start off gently with only pic a week at first though – so no Friday Tennant, I’m afraid – so get your thinking caps on for the above delightful picture provided by both Ms Rullsenberg and new arrival Hebbie. Praise them heartily, since they (and others) have ensured Sitting Tennant’s return.

It’s an easy picture scoreboard, though. I don’t think even I can mess this one up.

  1. Rullsenberg, Hebbie: 10

Good luck, captioneers!

Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below or email me and if it’s judged suitable, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery. Don’t forget to include your name in the filename so I don’t get mixed up about who sent it to me.

The best pic in the stash each week will appear on Tuesday and get ten points.

You can also enter the witty and amusing captions league table by commenting on the photo, the best caption getting 10 points, everyone who contributes getting five points.

    “We’re so not a couple.”

  • Marie

Yay!!!! Happy new year, Sitting Tennant!
“On reflection, maybe Matt Smith and Karen Gillan was not the best fancy dress choice.”

  • SK

Being the first Doctor/companion team since the programme returned to stay together for a second series had been fun, but after a decade the strain was starting to show.

  • Austerity cuts meant no cushions: and Catherine was holding a mouse in her hands. Luckily, the photographer was blonde so David was distracted.

  • Catherine: “Hey, where’s that rooster hair we all came to love, eventually?”

  • Electric Dragon

Unveiled: adverts for the new widescreen passport photo booths.

  • Bassy Galore

Yay! Thank you Rullsenberg and Hebbie!! You’ve just made my year. 😀

David: Just smile and pretend she’s blond.
    Catherine: Pretend he’s not pretending you’re blond…
