It seems the new layout for Sitting Tennant was a good move, since suddenly we have a veritable onslaught of Tennants in a sitting position. Today, we have three: one from young Rosby (who clearly likes her Tennnants young and windswept) and thought that that was going to be enough to hold on to her lead; but two from Ms Rullsenberg who is therefore declared the new leader. Told you you’d be caught napping, Rossers.
The Sitting Tennant picture competition table now stands as follows:
The Witty And Amusing Captions league table now sees Marie within striking distance of Toby thanks to some extreme wittiness (and topicality) on her part from her sick bed, while the middle of the board continues to see neck and neck excitement – like an Algonquin Roundtable version of Super Mario Kart:
As always, captions and new submissions for the gallery, please. Remember, you can submit as many (witty) captions as you like for each and every picture, with topical captions getting extra marks – as do pictures of David Tennant in current productions.
Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below and if it’s judged suitable, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery. You can also enter the witting and amusing captions league table by commenting on existing photos in the gallery.

Sometimes Big Finish have a good idea and they run with it: make lots of audio plays featuring the original actors from Doctor Who. Sometimes they have a bad idea and they still run with it: make lots of audio plays featuring none of the original actors from Sapphire and Steel.
But sometimes they just have an entirely mundane idea that no one would really consider re-using – and they run with it. Case in point: 100 was a series of four, one-episode plays gathered together to celebrate the 100th Big Finish Doctor Who audio release. So far so good. What you might not then have expected is for Big Finish to release four more one-episode plays under a numerical umbrella for no really good reason whatsoever.
Which is why Forty Five would have surprised you. It’s just four plays, all featuring the number 45.
That’s silly.

Today’s Sitting Tennant comes from Persephone and is from The Graham Norton Show. Apparently, David’s acting out some of his favourite porn, doing both roles as part of a one-man show, which sounded increasingly unpleasant even as I wrote it. Persephone says she’s been saving up the picture for some reason.
Captions please. Reasons why Persephone’s been saving it up do not count as captions.
The Sitting Tennant picture competition table now stands as follows, with Persephone rejoining Rullsenberg in second place. One picture from either of you and you’ll be in the lead, if Rosby doesn’t wake up soon:
The Witty And Amusing Captions league table has seen some excitement, with a very concerted effort from Marie. Here how it stands now:
As always, keep your eyes peeled for any new pictures of David Tennant sitting down that you can find, and keep coming up with those captions – there’ll be bonus points for topical captions and pictures if you can find them.
