What’s Carey Mulligan up to now? An Education

You remember Carey Mulligan, don’t you? Sally Sparrow off that nice Blink episode of Doctor Who? The one everyone hoped would be the new companion when Sweet FA buggered off?

Anyway, she’s all poised to be a movie star. Look, here she is in An Education (out soon), with Alfred Molina, Emma Thompson, Dominic Cooper and Rosamund Pike. She plays a 16-year-old in 1960s England who studies hard so she might get into Oxford, but gets seduced by Peter Sarsgaard. Ew.

Doubly ew, because it’s based on the life of journalist Lynn Barber.
