Question of the week: can Arnold Schwarzenegger revive his action movie career?

So our Arnie is back. Having put his career almost on hold to be governor of California for a few years – cameos in The Expendables and Terminator: Salvation (kind of) notwithstanding – he’s now appearing in the ensemble The Expendables 2 and as the lead in The Last Stand.

So the question of the week is:

Can Arnold Schwarzenegger revive his action movie career? And will you be going to see any of his movies?

I’m probably not going to see The Last Stand, but with the line-up of The Expendables 2, how could I resist? But how about you?

A planetary prison confining the most terrifying and insane of their kind, the Doctor and the Ponds must find an escape route. But with Amy and Rory’s relationship in meltdown, and an army of mad Daleks closing in, it is up to the Doctor to save their lives, as well as the Pond’s marriage. Holiday! Celebrate!

Yes, it’s August, so it’s time for my annual pilgrimage to Greece. That means no blogging for the next fortnight, I’m afraid. You’ll live, somehow, I’m sure.

I’ll start posting content when I get back and in case you haven’t watched all the plays in the archive yet – perhaps you skipped Artemis 81 for some reason – that should keep you occupied for a while. When I’m back, almost normal service will resume, but since most TV people are on holiday in August, the Daily News won’t be back until September (no news is good news?). If you’re going on holiday, too, have a nice time – let us know if you had fun!
