As promised a short while ago, here’s that performance by the Reduced Shakespeare Company of the first five seasons of Lost. There’s an intro by Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof as well.
In the US: Monday 1st February 2010, 9pm, NBC In the UK: I’m thinking about 13 or 14 weeks from now
Normally, when you say a Heroes episode is “a bit season 1ish”, it’s a good thing. But in this case, when we’re nearing the end of season four – yes, just one episode to go now – it’s a bit of a problem. Spoilers and discussion after the jump.
If you’re like me and have been watching Lost from the beginning, you’ve probably done the reverse of what you’d normally do – avoid all spoilers, footage, interviews with cast members, etc (which is no easy feat when you’re running a daily news service). Even now that ABC has for the first time included some season six footage in one of its promos, I’m studiously avoiding watching it (which is no easy feat when you’re embedding it in a blog entry).
Nevertheless, since it’s on tonight in the US on ABC and on Sky1/Sky1 HD on Sunday in the UK, have a promo, just in case you’re a little less cautious than me.
Interestingly, the entire first episode of the new season was premiered on a beach in Hawaii yesterday to thousands of fans. Naturally, various people had camcorders with them and then uploaded the whole episode to YouTube. And almost no one’s watched them. No one wants to be spoiled, it seems.
Since we’re on a Lost theme, on Thursday, the Reduced Shakespeare Company summarised the first five seasons of the show down to just 10 minutes. The full thing should be available soon, but here’s a little preview.
