TMINE

TMINE goes mobile

Tis indeed a time of technological innovation here at TMINE. As well as moving the blog to Disqus commenting, I’ve fiddled around a bit with the stylesheets that you can now view TMINE with a relatively minimalist appearance that all fits nicely in the screen (more or less). There’s even a different look for the commenting system.

Anyway, it looks fine on my iPhone. Not brilliant but okay. Let me know if you have any difficulties.

TMINE is moving to Disqus commenting

Well, I built this blog on rock and roll – aka Movable Type – which seemed like a good idea back in 2005, but not so much these days. It’s been lagging a bit (well, maybe not but since it’s all being done in Japanese now, how would I know?) over things like Facebook and Twitter integration, bug fixes, server stresses, spam fighting etc, so in a concerted effort to fix most of the problems, I’ve decided to move the blog commenting system over to Disqus.

This should offer all sorts of exciting features in the long run as well as in the short-term, but it’s all going to be in a state of flux for the next couple of days or so, while I iron out the bugs. At the moment, Disqus is importing all the blog’s comments (over 15,000 of them…) and it should have them imported within 24 hours or so. Until then, this place is going to be a bit schizophrenic.

Bear with me and it should all turn out fine soon enough! Thanks!

Nathan Fillion and Michael Rosenbaum on The Daly Show

Nathan Fillion is Green Lantern

As you might recall from earlier this week, Nathan Fillion (star of Castle, Firefly and, of course, PG Porn) is the voice of Green Lantern in the DC animated series and movies. Tim Daly is the voice of Superman in the animated series. So it was only natural for them to get together for Daly’s The Daly Show. But this time, he’s there to help Daly get over a problem – he can’t stop being Superman.

And then Michael Rosenbaum who voices The Flash turns up…
