Today’s Dick Heads come from Peggy (a big hello to Peggy, please: hello, Peggy!) and both feature Richard Armitage wearing a hat, so double kudos on that. In fact, triple kudos since they’re not from North and South and quadruple kudos since one of them has him wearing an SAS beret. Yes, he was in Ultimate Force, although I hadn’t realised it was him playing the uptight Rupert. How amazing.

As for the second one, he’s clearly in some kind of Johnny Depp/Mark Owen homage. I have no idea what it is though. Anyone?

Captions and haikus, please. Incidentally, Richard Armitage has just been declared the sexiest thing on two legs by the Romantic Novelists’ Association. Thought y’all would like to know that.

Today’s Dick Heads are both from DMW (a big hello to DMW please!) and both are from North and South. As DMW points out herself, she doesn’t get extra kudos for the first pic, since it’s not Richard Armitage wearing the hat in that one, but well done on both of them.

Marie has already stunned the crowds with a haiku captioning each frame from last week’s Dick Head triptych. Can it be bested this time? Let’s see what happens. Captions, love poems, sonnets, etc, in the comments section below, please.

OMG! We’re building up a Dick Head backlog. The pressure must be eased, so only a couple of weeks in and we’re doing a mid-week Dick Head: lots, in fact. These are of Richard Armitage at the BAFTAs and there’s one of him as Percy as well (you know, one day I might be less than lazy and look that up on IMDB to find out which series it was from). John Thornton from North and South.

They were provided by librarygirl, BTW. Everyone give a big hello to librarygirl!

Since we’re doing well with Haikus, let’s keep it up, but love songs, sonnets, carols, rounds, a rondel, hexameter or anything else you feel like doing – even a humble caption – will also go towards increasing the joy that is Dick Heads.

This week’s Dick Head comes from Jane Henry and features Richard Armitage in The Vicar of Dibley. He appears to be doing an impression of Atlas, holding the weight of the heavens on his shoulders – or his head, at least. No hat, I’m afraid, so no bonuses, but I’m sure the haiku and captions will be forthcoming all the same.
