While US TV has only been serving up mini-series such as I Am The Night, streaming services have been taking up the slack this week. Elsewhere, I’ve reviewed two new Internet shows:

And this week’s Orange Wednesday gave us two film reviews: Split (2016) and Das Boot (1981), as well as a glimpse at Polar (2019)

Das Boot

New shows

Sky Deutschland’s Das Boot sequel started on Sky last night and I’m aiming to have that as next week’s Boxset Monday. I might also be able to preview Time Traveling Bong if I get a chance. Plus I’m sure there’ll be something new on Netflix.

It’s “What have you been watching?”, your chance to recommend to fellow TMINE readers anything you’ve been watching this week

I haven’t reviewed any TV since last week. I blame Netflix, as well as my workload, which stopped me doing a third-episode verdict on The Passage. But at least I was able to launch shiny new movie review slot Orange Wednesday yesterday. But there has been one new show this week, The Other Two, which I’ll discuss after the jump.

Otherwise, it’ll just be the regulars: Black Monday, Cavendish, Corporate, Counterpart, The Magicians, Magnum P.I., The Orville, The Passage, Star Trek: Discovery and True Detective. I might be giving up on at least one of those – can you guess which?

It’s not been as busy a week as last week on TMINE, since I think some football has been on in America or something, but I have reviewed.

Wayne
YouTube Premium’s Wayne

New shows

After the jump, we’ll be looking at YouTube Premium’s Wayne. But to be honest, I don’t know what new shows are scheduled for the next week or so, so it’s all going to be a bit of a surprise. I’m pretty sure Netflix has something lined up for tomorrow, at least, and I think The Other Two begins tonight on Comedy Central, so that’ll be showing up before next time, for sure.

Magnum

The regulars

Suddenly, there’s a lot to watch! Magnum P.I. decided to put out two episodes, while Counterpart returned and we have a new season of Star Trek: Discovery. On top of that, there’s Cavendish, Corporate and The Orville, as well as new kid on the block The Passage. All of them I’ll discuss after the jump.

However, 13 episodes of The Punisher was a lot to get through, so I’ve skipped True Detective this week; fingers crossed, I’ll be all caught up next week. Meanwhile, The Magicians returned last night, so I’ve not had a chance to watch that. That’ll be a next-weeker as well.
