TV Preview: I Am Nicola

A preview of the new Channel 4 drama followed by a Q+A with Vicky McClure, Perry Fitzpatrick, Dominic Savage and Krishnendu Majumdar.

I Am Nicola is a deeply moving story of a couple who find themselves stuck in a dysfunctional and coercive relationship. The audience is given an often-uncomfortable fly on the wall view into the fleeting ups and devastating downs of a tumultuous relationship. Condensing the lifespan of a couple down to its most pivotal moments.

Each film in the I Am series has been developed in partnership with the leading actors and examines themes including relationships, identity and empowerment. The trilogy explores the experience of three women in moments that are emotionally raw, thought-provoking and very personal. Samantha Morton stars in I Am Kirsty and Gemma Chan in I Am HannahI Am Nicola is written and directed by BAFTA-winning Dominic Savage (The Escape), story by Dominic Savage and Vicky McClure and produced by Krishnendu Majumdar
