The Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer emerges a little earlier than planned

It was originally planned to air during next week’s episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. Unfortunately for Marvel, a low res version of its first trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron leaked. Oopsy.

However, rather than go on a massive ‘shut down and desist’ legal romp, the company decided it might as well give up and put the real thing out in high resolution. And you can watch it below.

The gang’s all there and James Spader makes a good Ultron, and the observant will spot Iron Man’s Hulkbuster armour in action. The movie seems to have more of a Captain America 2 than Avengers feel, which is interesting given that the Russo brothers are potentially being lined up to direct The Avengers 3.

No word yet on whether it’ll be The Avengers, Avengers Assemble or Avengers Back Again in the UK.
