I’ve always liked Andy Serkis. I remember him in what was pretty much his first role – a cycle courier on ITV kids drama Streetwise – even if the most YouTube can remember of that is the following ‘clip’, in which he plays the saxophone:
However, he’s now a big star in the movie world, having done motion capture roles in many films (he even runs his own motion capture company). His most famous role is as Gollum in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, but he’s also been King Kong and Caesar in the new Planet of the Apes movies.
