A clip from The Avengers (Assemble) Blu-Ray one-shot ‘Item 47’
The Blu-Ray release of The Avengers (Assemble) is out in September. Like previous Marvel Blu-Ray releases, it’s going to include a short movie, this time about what happens to a couple of criminals when they get hold of an alien gun, following the big fight at the end of the movie. Even better, one of that couple is Lizzy Caplan. Here’s a clip.
Thomas Jane makes a fan ‘Punisher’ movie: Dirty Laundry
Obviously, he hasn’t got the copyright to make an actual Punisher movie, but Thomas Jane from Hung, who starred in the first of the two recent Punisher movies as Frank Castle, has put together his own 10 minute Punisher movie as a love-letter to the character. He even roped in Ron Perlman to help him. He says:
I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in — a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it
