Despite Marie’s excellent epitaph for Dick Heads last week, Richard Armitage’s head mixes metaphors and limps on thanks to Deb, who has provided this picture of Dicky as Guy FawkesClaude Monet in The Impressionists. Will the rest of Armitage’s Army overcome the attack of the vapours over RA’s new publicity pic that seems to have possessed them of late, or will this be the last of the Dick Heads?

It’s cold outside, there’s no kind of atmosphere: yes, DT is back in Britain for his latest video diary – this time, in glorious HD. Facts we didn’t need to know: Michelle Ryan enjoys pain and being hung upside down from a harness. Thanks DT.

But in advance of watching the video, would anyone want to hazard a guess as to why he latched on to the third assistant director for a chat?

April at the BFI

Normally, I’d have done a rundown on what’s on at the BFI in April by now. Unfortunately, I’ve just realised, I think during my house move, the latest brochure must have gone astray or not got delivered. Or I threw it out.

Anyway, I’ve had a look through the online version and there’s not much for TV lovers in April, by the looks of it, apart from a season dedicated to documentary series Monitor. Doesn’t really float my boat, but it might float yours.

The only other thing is that there’s going to be a showing of Marty, on Wednesday 22nd April, accompanied by a Q&A with star Ernest Borgnine. Off you go, Airwolf fans!
