Since one of the requests from the Christmas customer survey was for more pictures of Scarlett Johansson, I felt I should oblige with this festive one. It’s also got Liev Schreiber in it, which makes it doubly awesome.

Ah, if only. It’s just a poster by Olly Moss. Not sure which of these it falls under: “Cancelled projects, alternate directions, abandoned sketches and bad ideas.” Definitely not the last one.
Intriguingly, Joss Whedon has just revealed that Scarlett Johansson might not have been available for (The) Avengers (Assemble) so there was a draft that featured The Wasp instead.
NBC’s weather forecaster Al Roker had laryngitis yesterday, so naturally the best replacement for him was Scarlett Johansson, who claimed to have always wanted to be a weather forecaster. That’s random.

Okay, so it’s reputedly based on Warren Ellis’s Extremis, so it was always going to be a bit dark, but it looks like they’ve really gone for it. At the very least, it should be better than Iron Man 2, despite the absence of Scarlett Johansson, but could that lack of trademark Marvel fun be a really killer at the box office, despite The Avengers‘ recent success? What do you think?
