Every Friday, TMINE lets you know when the latest TV shows from around the world will air in the UK

Not a lot of acquisitions this week. The biggie is Amazon’s bulk purchase of 75 Russian films and TV series, although when they’ll end up becoming available is anyone’s guess, as a few of those listed were already available. Plus Amazon never tells anyone.

Otherwise, a couple of show got picked up and had premiere dates: CBC (Canada)’s Bellevue and Viaplay (Sweden)’s most viewed show ever Advokaten (The Lawyer).

It’s movie time again. However, thanks to a combination of:

Torrential downpours
Cancelled trains
The fact I’ll get mugged if I stand at a bus stop in Lewisham watching a movie on my iPad
The fact I get sick on buses if I try to watch a movie on my iPad

I only had time to watch one movie this week. I did make a start on another, though, so spoiler alert: one of next week’s movies will be Tokyo Story (1953).
