Time to announce the competition winners. As you may recall, two £25 Amazon.co.uk vouchers courtesy of vouchercodes.co.uk were up for grabs for whomever could answer the apparently simple question:

David Tennant or John Barrowman? And why?

We had a multitude of answers, some heartfelt, some offhand, some comedic, some stone cold dead serious. But after a good deal of soul-searching, I’ve finally decided that the following people should win the vouchers:

Most of the answers to the competition were submitted as comments to the blog, but after the jump, those few answers sent directly to me, just for the sake of transparency and to see how entertaining those answers were, too.

amazonlogo.pngIt’s competition time again at The Medium Is Not Enough. Yes, a chance to win actual – not virtual – prizes that are loads more useful than one of my sarcastic TV reviews.

This time, two lucky people will each be getting a £25 Amazon.co.uk gift voucher to spend on what they wish, whether it’s a DVD of Painting With Nancy, a pair of Spiderman pyjamas or something even more desirable* – the choice will be theirs.

All you have to do to enter (subject to the Terms and Conditions) is to email me or leave a non-anonymous comment below answering the following question

You have until midnight on the 25th October 2009 to enter, with the two most entertaining/interesting/erotic/whatever answers getting the vouchers. The results will go up here on the 26th October 2009.

Sitting. It’s a very hard word to define precisely. We’ve stretched it a bit to incorporate David Tennant lying backward. But now the returning Sabine has challenged our understanding of ‘sitting’ with this picture in which he is lying forward. Is he still ‘sitting’?

I sense an exhibition coming on.

Anyway, she gets the three points. Don’t quibble.
