After a resounding call from as many as one people, here comes the (hopefully) regular weekly Heroes reviews. Still no word from the Beeb about when they’re going to be transmitting the new episodes, so US speed it is, I’m afraid.
Bit of a duff one after the previous week’s stonkers, I’m afraid, but we can talk about that after the jump. Spoilers ahoy.
As you might have gathered, the grand plan to have broadband still hasn’t worked. Sky HD+ I now have – more of my thoughts at some point when I can actually access the Internet from home.
But at the moment, Be is pointing a finger at BT claiming BT cancelled my order, BT is saying they did no such thing or else I wouldn’t have a working phone line, and the result is I’ve had to put in a new order for broadband which won’t be fulfilled until Friday.
So that means no Daily News until Monday (at the earliest) and minimal blogging, assuming I find the time to visit a coffee shop with WiFi at any point. Sigh. It’s never easy, is it?
PS New block of flats I live in is mostly inhabited by Millwall footballers, so a few of my neighbours are WAGs. They seem quite nice.
I didn’t have time on Friday to tally up the Sitting Tennant scores from the previous week. However, as promised, here are the new scoreboards. They don’t reflect Friday’s activities – you’ll just have to wait until the end of the week to find out how you’re all doing.

The wittiest caption for picture 1 was Marie’s not quite topical but still pithy comment, while Ms Rullsenberg’s Reader’s Digest comment was best caption for picture 2. I’m actually surprised no one used the strange perspective on picture 1 to wonder what David was trying to make the helper in the orange anorak do.
As always, captions and new submissions for the gallery, please. Remember, you can submit as many (witty) captions as you like for each and every picture, with topical captions (and pictures of David Tennant in current productions) getting extra marks. The wittiest caption for each picture will get double points. And there’s a bonus point for using Gary Numan lyrics appropriately.

Are you ready to haiku? Today’s Dick Heads are from Jane Henry and are from Spooks and something else, maybe an M&S commercial or something involving menswear (not to be confused with Menswear). What do they say to you? Are they saying it in 17 syllable groups? Does the lack of hats put you off and stop your creative juices from flowing?
This is actually the last of the current stock of Dick Heads so we’re going to need more, particularly ones involving hats, for Dick Heads and its poetry to continue. Get searching, Armitage lovers.

As predicted, the combined might of BT and Be screwed up my broadband order – to be fair to Be, it was BT lying and spending 48 hours blocking the account while it checked the line was okay.
