While DC hasn’t really been doing that great with movie versions of its comic strips of late, at least in comparison to Marvel (yes, Man of Steel, and the Batman trilogy, but Green Lantern as well and WHERE’S WONDER WOMAN?), it’s had far more success in the past couple of decades with animated shows like Justice League. Playing the voice of Superman since the mid-90s is Tim Daly, who seems to be filling in a lot of the blanks that DC’s been leaving through his web series The Daly Show, which stars him and his son Scott.

Last year, if you recall, he gave us a Justice League team up involving himself, Nathan Fillion (Green Lantern) and Michael Rosenbaum (The Flash and Lex Luthor in Smallville). Now, he’s got Kevin Gilroy – the voice of Batman for many – to turn up to do Batman v Superman a couple of years early. You may recognise some of the lines from somewhere…

As if that weren’t enough, he’s also given us this year the ultimate Superman team-up: himself, Brandon Routh and Dean Cain, all in one place. Almost. I should also point out Andrea Romano, the casting director for DC’s animated output, cameos at the end…
