The women of Double X magazine wonder what working life would be like if they drank like the characters on Mad Men during the day. First discovery: people don’t want to rush out of meetings so much.

There were songs, there were poems, there was even dancing, but it was the simplicity of Electric Dragon’s comment that came through to win the caption round this week. Good work and well done to George for wading in to the deep end this week for the first time. Keep it up, and good luck this week everyone!

Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below or email me and if it’s judged suitable, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery.
Every photo displayed on Monday (one per person who sends one in) gets a point, with a bonus point if it’s from the latest DT production; the best pic in the stash each week will appear on Friday and get three points.
You can also enter the witty and amusing captions league table by commenting on Friday’s Sitting Tennant photo, the best caption getting 10 points, everyone who contributes getting five points.
What have you been watching this week (w/e October 16)
Still plenty to watch on TV, despite my dropping a large number of shows. Other than what I reviewed already this week, here’s what’s been on our pile of TV viewing:
- Being Erica – We’re an episode behind but starting to feel a bit “Hmm” about it right now. The show feels like it’s lose the narrative drive of the first season. Why does Erica need therapy still?
- Mad Men – I’m up to speed again. Season three’s definitely picking up after a slow first third and it’s great again.
- Supernatural – Funny again. Yey. Good to see Paris Hilton reveal her true evil colours.
- House – not sure about the story arc, but it’s good to see a return to earlier seasons (you know what I mean if you’re watching)
I have minimal recollection of Cougar Town, CSI, Dexter, Community and Modern Family, other than they were as good as usual, so keep watching if you aren’t already.
What have you been watching though? Tell us all here, but here’s important: if you’ve reviewed something on your blog, you can put a link to it here rather than repeat yourself (although too many links and you might get killed by the spam filter).
As always, no spoilers unless you’re going to use the <spoiler> </spoiler> tags, please
