Sitting Tennant scores

I didn’t have time on Friday to tally up the Sitting Tennant scores from the previous week. However, as promised, here are the new scoreboards. They don’t reflect Friday’s activities – you’ll just have to wait until the end of the week to find out how you’re all doing.

Pictures

  1. Rullsenberg: 6
  2. Jaradel: 3
  3. Rosby: 2.5

Witty captions
The wittiest caption for picture 1 was Marie’s not quite topical but still pithy comment, while Ms Rullsenberg’s Reader’s Digest comment was best caption for picture 2. I’m actually surprised no one used the strange perspective on picture 1 to wonder what David was trying to make the helper in the orange anorak do.

  1. Marie: 20
  2. Toby: 16.5
  3. Persephone: 13
  4. Jane Henry: 10
  5. Rullsenberg: 9
  6. Rev/Views, Jaradel: 7
  7. Scott: 3
  8. Aaron: 2
  9. Electric Dragon: 1

As always, captions and new submissions for the gallery, please. Remember, you can submit as many (witty) captions as you like for each and every picture, with topical captions (and pictures of David Tennant in current productions) getting extra marks. The wittiest caption for each picture will get double points. And there’s a bonus point for using Gary Numan lyrics appropriately.

Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below and if it’s judged suitable, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery. You can also enter the witting and amusing captions league table by commenting on existing photos in the gallery.

Dick Heads

Dick Heads (from Jane Henry): Spooks and something else, probably an M&S commercial or something involve menswear

Richard Armitage in something, maybe an M&S ad

Are you ready to haiku? Today’s Dick Heads are from Jane Henry and are from Spooks and something else, maybe an M&S commercial or something involving menswear (not to be confused with Menswear). What do they say to you? Are they saying it in 17 syllable groups? Does the lack of hats put you off and stop your creative juices from flowing?

This is actually the last of the current stock of Dick Heads so we’re going to need more, particularly ones involving hats, for Dick Heads and its poetry to continue. Get searching, Armitage lovers.

Got a picture of Richard Armitage’s head, preferably wearing a hat? Then leave a link to it below and if it’s judged suitable, it will appear in the “Dick Heads” gallery.

Daily News back tomorrow

As predicted, the combined might of BT and Be screwed up my broadband order – to be fair to Be, it was BT lying and spending 48 hours blocking the account while it checked the line was okay. But fingers crossed, all should be sorted when I get home, so there should be Daily News tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.

Sitting Tennant

Today’s Sitting Tennants (from Rullsenberg and Jaradel)

DT on the phone DT sitting down DT at a script read-through

I’m in a bit of a rush this morning and am out all day, so I can’t do the full scoring and awards for last week’s Sitting Tennants – I’ll do that on Monday, assuming I have a working Internet connection in my new flat by then (fingers crossed!). So instead, I’ll just leave you with these pictures to caption over the weekend and next week – two from Ms Rullsenberg and one from Ms Jaradel, which is from the Partners in Crime script read-through.

Away you go!
