Marie & Rob, I just don't get it. I tried. I really did, but I just didn't understand.

I'm approaching 50 ... is it an age thing?

My problem with the Conches is that pretty much all the jokes are the same: one of them tries to act hard and tough; the other calls him on it; the other one defends himself but sort of admits he's not as tough as he first claimed; then the other one calls him on it again.

I'm hoping they'll have a new structure for their jokes this season.

No. Not unless the cut-off point for understanding is 33/34.

I keep thinking this is one of those shows that should have a hidden shame support group for those of us who don't get it. I'd mention a few others beloved by many which I never got, but again... I'm too ashamed......

I have a friend who's convinced there's money to be made from a book featuring Things That Other People Get and I Don't. But give he's not a fan of Dr Who he's probably wrong...

I have only caught glimpses of the Conchords and loved what I saw, so I will try and see some of this series to work out whether I'm in Marie's camp or Rob's/Toby's. Toby surely being 50+ has got to be a bonus in a show featuring David Bowie turning up in the hero's dreams? (Or did that only happen the one time - see told you I didn't watch it)
