TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello gives away a few spoilers about the next seasons of 24 and House, among others. In particular, Firefly fans might be delighted (I don’t know since I’m not one of their numbers) to hear that Summer Glau will be joining the cast of The Unit, which will air on Bravo here in the UK some time soon.
Broadcast is reporting that ITV is mulling over ITV1 slots for Raines, The Black Donnellys and Smith, should they become hits. At the moment, they’re scheduled for ITV3 and ITV2 slots, will possible repeats on ITV1.
Raines and The Black Donnellys are both mid-season shows, so we won’t know for a while if they’re a success, but Raines and The Black Donnellys are both pretty good shows, so this has got to be good news, both for ITV as a whole and UK viewers.
That’s what he reckons anyway. He wants to do more movies.

I gave the BBC press office a call yesterday to find out what was going to be in BBC4’s British Spies season. Well, I emailed them: they don’t take calls. Eventually, ‘Clive’ got back to me: at the moment, details are a bit sketchy apparently and they’re not quite sure yet. He’ll email me some more information soon, he promised.
So, to find out more, we’re going to have to use an advanced investigative journalist’s tool: the Radio Times.
