Well, Prometheus (the “definitely not a prequel to Alien” prequel to Alien directed by Ridley Scott) appears to have started a trend: the trailer for the trailer. Yes, coming soon, a trailer for a new movie so here’s a trailer for the trailer telling you all about it and to get you excited for that trailer.
And here’s one for Total Recall‘s trailer, which is due out on Sunday. Looks like a cross between the original, Blade Runner and Minority Report – i.e. a whole host of other movies based on Phil Dick stories. In case you’re wondering, it stars Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale and Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad. And they don’t go to Mars.
