"How valuable are these reviews of Big Finish plays to people?"

It's certainly saved me from wanting to buy any of them. Ever. I find myself hoping that there's a really bad one you can tear to shreds entertainingly, but preferably not at the cost of, you know, your actual sanity. I suppose it keeps the likes of Colin Baker and Nicholas "The Brigadier" Courtney out of trouble between conventions, and India Fisher in work between Masterchef gigs.

Also: "deadly origami warriors"? It'd better not ever rain otherwise that fearsome army will suddenly become a soggy mess on the ground.

Much as I enjoy them, I do sense that you're running (have long run) out of patience. You're always hilarious in reviewing them (because frankly treating them with resigning hilarity seems to be about all most of them are fit for at the mo) but it seems unfair to keep forcing you to continue.

Quite after the Charley arc if you need to, but I will always enjoy your reviews of the BFs better than the DWM reviews.

(I still refer back to your post on the 8th doctor stories - pre-Lucie, and a general back catalogue review of the best stories overall always goes down well - some improve with age, maybe others are less great than thought at the time)

Please don't stop these reviews. I love them and check for them every four weeks. You have hit the nail on the head, and for goodness sake keep reviewing. It is very useful for me to see someone who is happy to criticise these plays. Good work - please keep it up.

I really enjoy your reviews, but I fully appreciate your position. 'Blue Forgotten Planet' is it for me in regard to the regular range, and I think you're a touch generous in labelling them 'hit and miss'('miss and misser' perhaps).
Now they've finally resolved the Charlie stuff there's nothing left for me. Colin Baker has been redeemed, Sylvester McCoy exposed and now it's all just repetition. But I hope you carry on, as I trust your POV and if there is a sudden upturn in quality it would be nice to know (but there won't be).

I think it is time for Nick Briggs to stand down off the audios. I think the range is crying out for new, fresh talent to be brought in from outside the controlling group; we need someone new in to take an innovative look at things.
