I love the show with a passion, but trying to watch it with a new set of voices? Blah! No thanks, there's almost no chance that they'll sound like the original cast - I'd rather have the show end at 'Wide Green Yonder' than carry on in some horribly mangled fashion.

Me, too. I'm still working my through the books. They're just about the best historical fiction I've ever read - as though they've come from a time capsule in the 19th century. Apologies to any other writers of historical fiction.

I also love the relationship between Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany. Would love to see it revisited. And yes. MUST MUST read the books...
