That's _slightly_ different to how I described it at the time, which was "a load of shit". It was like watching two tennis pros from the '60s battle it out at Wimbledon, collapsing from the strain and expiring. Only less fun.

Far to many of them rely on repeated uses of the same gags and catchphrases. They grow to be exceptionally tired fast. Ruddy Hell it's Harry and Paul became boring after the first episode...

The last good sketch I saw in a sketch show was the "Chav WWII British Fighter Pilots" from Armstrong and Miller and the last sketch shows I watched in full was the League of Gentlemen and Green Wing. (Which are both more story driven).

Gimme the Pythons, "Two Ronnies" or "Morecambe and Wise" over any of the modern ones anyday. Now they did proper sketch shows.
