Brings in the curious '24' crowd and yet she's not so overpowering that she leaves a vacuum with her departure which the stars left behind can't possibly fill.

The gorilla plot reminded me of an old 'Get Smart' episode, and 'The Middleman' does have a 21st Century upgrade feel to that show. Also a faster-paced similarity to 'The Tick' in a way.

But so long as they keep Ida around, I'll keep coming back. For me, she was the highlight of the show!
