I was glad that it was as good as a I remembered it, and thanks for this review. I hope lots of people go out and buy it. And surely John Sparkes would be worthy of a place in your blog gods: Siadwell, Frank Hovis, Denzil, and his pivotal voiceover for Shaun the Sheep ;-)

In the lost gems series it night be worth having a look at the DVDs of the great Alexei Sayle's Stuff (again, never repeated) and available dirt cheap via various on-line retailers last year. Not much (ie nothing) in the way of extras - but the content is brilliant (and from much the same time as Absolutely and Naked Video - late 80s sketch comedy was pretty good.
