I guess I was expecting too much in the concept of "SeinfeldVision". It was obvious that the super-imposed Jerry-heads (sounds like a Grateful Dead reference) were taped specifically to be inserted into the clips. I would have liked seeing actual Jerry-heads from his sitcom used, even if they didn't quite fit the scene. But that probably would have been time-consuming and cost too much for the rights.

I guess everybody involved got what they wanted - '30 Rock' did gain viewers from the casting stunt, and Seinfeld got to plug his "Bee Movie" several times over.

I was introducing my sister to the show Thursday night - she's a big Jerry fan and likes Baldwin as well. It worked for her, but she said it could have been a bit zippier. Not sure if she'll stick around next week to try some more. (I may have to foist the season one DVD upon her!)

I didn't really find it much less funnier to be honest. I think the problem with it is that it was a different show than usual so new viewers will not have seen the REAL 30 Rock. It focused on Jerry and Liz's single life a lot and the behind the scenes of the actual making of the show wasn't featured at all(Scott Adsit had about 1 line I think!).

So next week with Seinfeld gone it will change format back to the usual Liz v Jack, Tracey messing up the show etc storylines.

I thought the scenes with Jack and Jerry were great and even though Jerry is a pretty crap actor I enjoy his style of delivery. The scene where Jack breaks down in-front of Jerry was priceless as was the look on his face when Jerry asked him whether Lost was "you guys".

My favourite bit had to be Kenneth doing the Seinfeld theme to Jerry in the elevator: gleefully child-like!

A welcome return!
