It was changed for the second season.

Basically, for reasons unknown (Massive Attack being arsey; Fox not bothering to stump up the cash; a screw up in the contract; etc), they can't actually use Teardrop in markets other than the US and Fox isn't bothered enough to change that.

I've never known a series to have a different theme in the US than it does elsewhere (I'm sure it must have happen before, I'm just oblivious) It's a shame Fox/Massive Attack couldn't sort it out - Teardrop gives such an atmospheric track, much better than the alternative
