We need to stop remaking good UK shows and just stick with the originals, The Office is ok, but I actually liked Being Human, they shouldn't be allowed to change it, just show the UK version

Mr Jon Blum insists on his web page that there has been no post-Tennant drop (though he does insist on counting iPlayer figures).

Anyway, isn't the reason for the earlier timeslot up to now obvious? Here's a hint: now it's moving later, what is the difference in the BBC1 schedule between last Saturday and Saturday week (tomorrow obviously being a special case)?

What, that the BBC wanted to put in a central pre-'Britain's got Talent' position, is missing?

  • I really couldn't understand why they have been putting DW out so early. okay, so Hungry Earth was always going to be a ropey puller on a fine summer evening - a monster only geek fans know or are bothered about, written by Chib (enough to put some more of the same geeks off), and minus the draw of luscious Tennant (I think Smith is making a great Doctor by the way, but the show is experiencing a post-Tennnant drop that was extremely predictable once the curiousity factor wore off). Putting the show on at approx 6pm slots is madness - the show has consistently struggled anyway - even with DT - to maintain higher audiences in a pre-6.45pm slot... Or am I misremembering?

Allowable comments

You can leave just about any kind of comment you like. You can argue, suggest I am (or anyone else is) wrong, leaving general messages of love – anything. However, you absolutely can't leave messages that attack other commenters (or me): your comment will either be edited or deleted and you'll be barred from leaving any further comments. We want to keep it civil here. Oh, and absolutely no German conspiracy theorists please – I think we've all had enough of them round here – and no stupid spammy adverts for the DISH network.

Spoilers

If you're going to put something you think is a spoiler into one of your comments, put <s> in front of it and </s> after it; if your spoiler is long, remember to put the tags before and after every paragraph. Your spoiler will then only appear if anyone highlights it with their mouse. Remember: your comments also show up in the sidebar at the side of every page!
