Fittingly, in this time of co-operation and love, isn't great to see both Ms Rullsenberg and Sister Chastity getting points this week for submitting this picture of David Tennant auditioning for Shameless? Well done to the both of you.

Good luck this week everyone! And, can I ask you all to start thinking about Sitting Tennant 2010? Should the rules change? Should it still be a competition? What format should it be?

Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below or email me and if it's judged suitable, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery.

Every photo displayed on Monday (one per person who sends one in) gets a point, with a bonus point if it's from the latest DT production; the best pic in the stash each week will appear on Friday and get three points.

The Doctor felt that if he was going to be the Keeper of Traken he should at least update the wardrobe. Chair was nice though.

David wasn't sure if he should point out that the RSC seats were not gold plated roccoco style armchairs; and he'd certainly be keeping quiet about the possibility of sitting on his lap if you booked the 'David Tennant' sponsored seat....

    Re Sitting Tennant 2010.

I do love that you have the Monday bonus pics and then the Friday image is a heartily-suitable-for-captioning beauty. This gives (most weeks) extra loveliness of Tennant on two days. I think the issue of whether it remains as a competition is more fraught -- I mean, it has rather snowballed hasn't it!? There are two clear board leaders on captioning (Toby and Marie) and whilst I've had giddy fun on picture collection, last year was more of a late realisation I could claw to the top - meaning this year I've been defending the title to the fiercesome picture scouring talents of Sister Chastity (who clearly has an inside edge on current events!). Much more demanding!

Thing is, there is probably a core of competitiveness to anything like this even if we do it mostly for the fun. And ST does seem to pull in additional contributors and traffic: how does it look from your end Rob in terms of visits to the site?

Yes I know I look rough. But I am 900 years old, and it's been a long night, ok?

I mean, have you ever saved someone's life, changed time and turned yourself into a god? No. Thought not. It does strange things to a person. And it's particularly galling when the ungrateful sods either run away or top themselves. I think I might have to give up on all this saving the world stuff. Let someone else have a go for a change.

David does so many things so well, so he decided to add a new profession to his portfolio...construction foreman, but chose not to stand around on the job and procured a comfy chair to make the job a bit easier.

It brings in a few thousand hits a month, but how much of that stays for more, I wouldn't like to guess. It's more something for regulars really.

    1) 'Coming soon: "Wayne Slob: The Movie"'

    2) The chair David had purloined from the Casanova set took pride of place in his lounge. All he needed was for the builders to finish the walls.

On meta-Sitting Tennant issues, I would say: keep the points consistent - I lost track of the rule changes a bit in the summer, but I think the current 5/10 point scheme seems to work well. And I'm aiming for that bronze spot next time!

You know I don't always have to wait for a regeneration to change my wardrobe style!
