It's my birthday today (December 7th). Woo hoo!
So in an unfeasible act of generosity, I'm giving away two £25 Amazon.co.uk vouchers in time for you to do your Christmas shopping. This time, there's no barrier to entry, since all you have to do to enter the competition - subject to the terms and conditions - is leave a comment below (or if you prefer, email me). No anonymous entries for obvious reasons, please.
Deadline for entry is 11.59pm GMT on Sunday 13th December, after which two winners will be randomly picked from a hat and told how lucky they are.
Incidentally, the prizes are being provided by PromotionalCodes.org.uk, which offers free promotional voucher codes for shops like Argos and Marks and Spencer. Thank them nicely by clicking through (they might offer more prizes): at the very least, you might get some shopping vouchers.

Many happy returns!
I thought the point of birthdays was to receive presents not give them away?

Happy birthday!
December birthdays are great, aren't they? More special somehow. It's as if you could have been a second coming, or a third, or whatever, if only your parents had just waited a few more days to do the things you'd rather not imagine parents doing. Or a few less in my case.

Excellent - I can combine birthday wishes with a lattery deniable in the event of not winning competition entry!

Happy Birthday, Rob. A wish not it any way linked to a hope to win an Amazon voucher. Really. No, honestly.

It's your birthday and you're giving us presents? Wotta guy. £25 to spend at Amazon would make the redundancy a little easier. Teeny bit. Splurge it on something completely unnecessary.
Happy birthday.

[Rob, have I mentioned that I love you, lately?] Um, even though you don't know me and vice versa... Anyway, an Amazon voucher would be lovely right about now - give me a litle hope after a rough few months of illness. Is that pathetic enough to convince you? Are you just picking at random anyway? I'll shut up.

[Rob, have I mentioned that I love you, lately?] Blimey I have a day off-blog and suddenly there's the chance for prizes!? The only compensation is that I'm not especially later than lots of other people.
Hope you had a really brilliant birthday.

This kind of makes me feel bad as if my birthday wishes are insincere by default...
Ah well.
Happy birthday.

Hope you had a fun birthday. After being offline all this week with router problems (hence my very late comment), an Amazon voucher would cheer me up no end. Thanks for thinking of us.

[this is good] Happy Birthday!! (belated)
Well, all the hype comes to an end tonight (The X factor) hoping Joe wins, still think it was a crying shame that Simon Cowell voted off Lucie Jones over Deadwood. He supposedly was going to leave the country if John and Edward were to win the competition!!
Just looking at the 2 week Christmas TV listings, no surprises here, The Wizard of Oz is on again, Christmas nightt viewing consisting of 3 hours of soaps on ITV and BBC1

[Rob, I'm obviously insane since I disagree with you, but…] I think flashforward isn't that bad - aside from the many happy returns !
