Karen's Sitting Tennant

Rullsenberg's Sitting Tennant

Sabine's Sitting Tennant

Sister Chastity's Sitting Tennant

Toby's Sitting Tennant

We have enough Tennants sitting now to reintroduce the uncaptioned Sitting Tennant gallery to Mondays. Thanks as always to our regular suppliers, without whom your glazed stares would be impossible.

See if you can spot which picture nearly was disqualified.

  1. Rullsenberg: 65.5
  2. Sister Chastity: 61.5
  3. Jaradel: 35.5
  4. Karen: 11
  5. Toby: 10
  6. Sabine: 5
  7. Amy, Lauren: 4
  8. Rosby: 2.5
  9. Persephone: 1

Don't forget Friday's caption competition.

Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below or email me and if it's judged suitable, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery.

Every photo displayed on Monday (one per person who sends one in) gets a point, with a bonus point if it's from the latest DT production; the best pic in the stash each week will appear on Friday and get three points.

You can also enter the witty and amusing captions league table by commenting on Friday's Sitting Tennant photo, the best caption getting 10 points, everyone who contributes getting five points.

Thank you, Rob. I will continue to argue that the definition of "sitting" should more properly refer to positioning of hips and knees at approximate 90 degree angles as opposed to contact of a body part with a surface. I don't see a chair in Sister Chastity's entry, but settin' on haunches is definitely sitting in my benighted part of the world.

Bum in air does not equal sitting. Harrumph.

Though it is a great pic! :)

    PS poorly. again. grr.

I guess an exception every now and then can't hurt, or the gallery will have to be re-named as the 'in non-vertical position Tennant'.
I'm more intrigued by the PJ, I can't remember any episode of Dr.Who with Rose and Mickey and the Doctor in his PJ.
Was he running late and they had to drag him away from his bed to the set?

Yet I think the third one should have been disqualified for poor taste in clothing, look at that shirt/tie/vest combo! and that disappointed look on is face! he's probably looking at the photo-shot stylist..

Sabine, I think this is from the Christmas Invasion episode, and they were just being silly. c:

Explanation for the sitting issue... Invisible Chair. Duh.
