Castle gets Nathan Fillion to dress up like Captain Mal from Firefly

Posted on October 27, 2009 | 3 comments |

In case you missed it, Nathan Fillion's new(ish) show Castle just did a massive Firefly shout-out by getting him to dress up like Captain Mal for Halloween. "Didn't you wear that five years ago?"

It's probably the best thing the show's done, which tells you something about it. Still, at least it's on the air, which is more than you can say about most things Nathan Fillion's been in…

I was giddy when I saw him dressed as Mal! Oh, sorry, a "space cowboy"! I like Castle (Hey, I liked Murder, She Wrote too, so whatever!), but I loved Firefly. So sad... Here's hoping Captain Tightpants get to return in a sequel to the movie Serenity.

PLEASE JOSS! You've GOT to make another movie!

Just my humble opinion though. ;)

I'll take your word for it. I gave up after episode three. Anything interesting happen since then? Have the two leads hooked up yet?
