Fingers crossed, I'll have caught up on last week's tele, including Dark Blue and 10 Things I Hate About You. I might even have caught The Fixer. But how about you? Anything good?
As always, no spoilers unless you're going to use the <spoiler> </spoiler> tags, please

I'm still in the process of watching/cleaning out the shows backed up on my DVR while I was on vacation. Three episodes of 'True Blood' I was able to just erase because I watched them in a mini-marathon over at a friend's. (I like the show a lot, but I always have difficulty in working up the enthusiasm to watch it by myself. But like 'Mad Men' and the American version of 'The Office', I enjoy it much more when watching with somebody else.)
While at my friend's place, I was also able to polish off the last couple of episodes from the first season of 'Nurse Jackie'. I'm surprised by how much I like this show, even though it has a big built-in roadblock for me - I can't stand the main character. It's something that has caused me to drop other shows, but in this case, characters like Coop, O'Hara, Momo, Thor, and especially Zoey make it worthwhile for me to come back.
I'm trying to empty the queue before the new season kicks into gear, and yet I found myself recording two movies which are eating up my time - "CQ" and "The Dog Lover".
As always, 'Leverage' was a lot of fun this week and a nice showcase for Aldis Hodge as Hardison.
Over here in the States, this is Labor Day weekend, so even the cable networks are foregoing their usual fare because they expect us all to be out enjoying the last unofficial blast of summer. (Me? I have to work.) So without shows like 'Eureka', 'Monk', 'Psych', and others, I'll have the time to hack away at that backlog of shows.

New shows: Only True Blood (not good- season seems to be going out with a whimper) and Mad Men (work of genius every week).
I rewatched series 1 of Being Human despite the dvds breaking my heart by having very little of the original music.
I am still catching up on Rescue Me (definitely a better season- some of it is exceptional though much is a rehash of previous glories... Michael J Fox was amazing in it btw) and Better Off Ted (which started strong but is dropping off in quality... still, highly recommended for people that like Big Bang Theory).
