Have we previously heard anything about Who switching from an Easter to a New Year start? Sounds like the new season is following straight on from Tennant's last specials.

There have been rumours. Current suggestions are

    a) Curtis has messed up
    b) the season will be split in two, one half at the start of the year, the other towards the end of the year

Nothing from the Beeb about b), mind

Actually I had heard (b) - it's to do with not having the series on during the World Cup, isn't it?
