I didn't realise Polly Walker was playing Cassiopeia in Titans. That alone might convince me to watch it.
Mind you, Cassiopeia and Andromeda should really be black, shouldn't they?

No, I didn't realise that either. As for Cassiopeaia and Andromeda, although they were the royal family of Ethiopia, they were part of the Phoenician Empire at the time (assuming we're talking early to mid Bronze Age here), and so could be either black or Canaanites and therefore Semitic.

The question that springs to mind when I see remake of Excalibur, is why? Just watched it again at weekend and I can't see how a modern version would improve on it. They'd be better starting from scratch. It's still my favourite version of the story.

Unlikely to look like Polly Walker, though. Even less likely to look like Sian Phillips and Judi Bowker, though. And it's a myth.
Judi Bowker. Whatever happened to her?

Heretic.

[Rob, have I mentioned that I love you, lately?] We have missed you... even it has taken me three days to get here....
I've really missed the news pages even though I try and keep myself spoiler free by avoiding links and hoping everyone keeps the spoiler tags on!
(on which note, having judiciously avoided going beyond a suspicion about the spoilers for the DT Doctor Who finale(s), I was right royally p****d off to open up the latest DWM and find a big fat headline provided spoiler starring at me.
I'd kinda guessed but really: a hint on the contents page might have helped me consider avoiding that page at least... *grr*
Sorry: I needed to rant.
It's losing my Sitting Tennant crown that's done it
