Of course I'm prejudiced against TV show remakes, but I think the only guy to play a new version of Jim Rockford is already tied up with another series - David Boreanaz from 'Bones'. I always hoped to see James Garner show up on that series as one of Booth's relatives. (Booth apparently had a good relationship with his grandfather; they could go that way.)
And Piper Perabo can kiss 'Covert Affairs' goodbye. I think Chistopher Gorham has taken over the role of "show-killer" from Ted McGinley. ('Harper's Island' doesn't count, as it was a limited run series; but his presence may not have helped the ratings.)
'Ugly Betty' is probably the exception to that rule, although it was having problems.....
Not that I don't like him - I enjoyed 'Jake 2.0' and thought that had promise.

Jennifer Aniston has the worst, the absolute worst taste in scripts I have ever seen from an actress ever.
EVER!
WTF is wrong with her and her team picking these ridiculous projects for her?
I think the Huvanes secretly hate her, but I can't figure out what for!
This stuff mentioned in that Variety article sounds worse than the demon spawn of The Proposal and The Ugly Truth.

Oh, does Chibnall quit today because he becomes the new showrunner/lead writer on Torchwood S4?
Because I would like that to happen.

I'd also prefer Spielberg to be working on In Like Flint over Matt Helm.
Flint was more fun, and sexier.
And that's my final comment on today's news.
