This ad is called Sunshine and it's currently appearing in cinemas. It's quite lovely. It's also for ITV1. Can someone explain how these two things are related?
I can sort of squint and see it: watching ITV1 is like sunshine on a rainy day. But the question is: has the person who came up with this advert seen ITV1 recently?
As a side note, I listened to Michael Grade claiming on Simon Mayo's show recently that ITV1 was the number one channel in the UK and should replace BBC1 in the top slot. Anyone believe that for a second?

I almost laughed up a kidney in the cinema when I saw this last night, needless to say I got some very strange looks.

Yep, saw this ad in the cinema too, it was very confusing. It would've been more apt if the kids caused a sunny day to become cloudy with ITV's crappy content.
